Mocoh SA joins the AHP

The African Hydrogen Partnership (AHP) is delighted to welcome Mocoh SA as a member. Mocoh specialises in trading and supplying essential energy to customers across the African continent. Headquartered in Geneva, 80% of its activity flows in and out of Africa, with customers including refineries, traders, state owned oil companies and independent distributors. The company is engaged in many parts of the supply chain, from purchasing to the supply of end user energy products.

Mocoh was founded in 1998 with contracts in South Africa. In the following decade the company expanded into Madagascar, South Sudan, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and Ghana. In 2019, it moved into the downstream supply business with the acquisition of Engen in Ghana. Dynamic, entrepreneurial and progressive, Mocoh is continuously exploring new opportunities to meet the evolving needs of its customers. Dedicated to reinvesting in its communities, it is helping boost literacy in Africa through its support of the mc2h foundation, as well as supporting other locally-driven initiatives.
Mocoh currently operates out of 14 regional offices, with 80% of its staff based in Africa.
