“It is an honour to be a part of what I regard to be Africa’s foremost umbrella in the hydrogen space. I am persuaded that Africa can leapfrog the fossil fuel dependent regions of the world through low-carbon industrialisation. To this end, I am happy to play a role in mobilising much needed capital into African clean hydrogen projects.”
AHP Chairman, Dr Innocent Uwuijaren said,
“We are delighted that Junaid has agreed to become Chairman of our Financial Advisory Group. Securing high quality capital investment is critical to the development of green hydrogen projects in Africa and his expertise and advice will be of huge value to our members, given Japan’s role as a major hydrogen off-taker.”
AHP University Board Member, Prof. Bamidele Adebisi said,
“It is great to have Junaid on board. Mizuho is an existing AHP member and having his financial and business expertise will help us enormously. One of the strengths of the AHP is its ability to bring together not just industry, but also finance and academia.”
