Africa Green H2 (Finance) Accelerator Forum in Nouakchott, Mauritania
The African Hydrogen Partnership (AHP) participated in the “Africa Green H2 (Finance) Accelerator” Forum in Nouakchott, Mauritania, 13-14 April 2023, hosted by The Mauritania Ministry of Petroleum, Mines and Energy and the Africa Green Hydrogen Alliance (AGAHA) with support of the Green Hydrogen Organisation (GH2) and The World Bank.
Stakeholders discussed approaches on reducing the cost of capital for greenhydrogen projects and ways to catalyze funding for existing investment opportunities.
The participants of the African Hydrogen Partnership (AHP) also discussed socio-economic benefits from the green hydrogen economy and how to address the critical shifts needed to achieve these benefits which include driving high growth industries, boosting economic development, and creating clean sustainable jobs.
