Shell Joins California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP) Executive Board

At the California Fuel Cell Partnership public meeting in October, Shell was invited to become a member of CaFCP’s executive board. Shell is the first energy company to join the board. Shell and its affiliates within the Shell Group of Companies are taking part in various initiatives to encourage the adoption of hydrogen as a transport fuel. Shell currently operates two hydrogen refueling stations in California, located in Newport Beach and Torrance, and was awarded ARFVTP funding to build seven additional stations. CaFCP Executive Members are integrally involved with the technical, financial, and regulatory decisions that affect market deployment of FCEVs in California, across the U.S., and around the world.
