"Hywind Scotland wind turbine mating - تركيب محطة توربينات هايويند سكوتلاند لطاقة الرياح"

Statoil and Masdar proudly present: Hywind Scotland, the world’s first commercial-scale floating wind farm. Currently being assembled off the west coast of Norway, the video showcases the entire turbine (rotor blades and all) being lifted on to the floating substructure. The diameter of the rotor blades is 154 metres, nearly twice the wingspan of an Airbus A380, and bigger than the diameter of Abu Dhabi’s iconic Aldar HQ building. The full structure is 253 metres tall, with 78 metres below the water surface – that’s nearly three-quarters the height of the Eiffel Tower. The turbines now await towing to a position off the coast of Scotland, and once complete will provide energy to over 20,000 households.
