Donata Riedel reported, "The German industry association, the BDI, has set up a program with the government’s development ministry to help small entrepreneurs in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. German industry renewed its commitment to promoting development aid Tuesday when Dieter Kempf, head of the industry association, the BDI, and Development Minister Gerd Müller, a member of the conservative Christian Social Union, signed a partnership to boost commerce in East Africa.
